Who We Are
​We are Shades of Blue, one of Penn State's premier co-ed a cappella groups. We have created a well-established social media presence, with nearly 150k followers on TikTok. We have also performed campus-wide for individuals such as the President of Penn State, local businesses downtown, and copious off-campus organizations.

In addition to our performances, we record our very own EPs which you can stream on Spotify, Apple Music, or any other streaming service. Our most recent EPs include: Joy, Levels, and Wish You Were Here. Aside from making music, we are a tight-knit family here at Penn State! We enjoy doing what we love together and sharing our talents with our friends, family, and community.
Our Story
We were founded by Mark Lehnowsky and a small group of friends back in the fall of 2003. We are a tight-knit group that strives to bring together a diverse group of individuals with a common passion for music. Our repertoire spans all genres and eras, from pop hits, to modern country, to football fight songs! With majors from nearly every school and individuals from various backgrounds, members are brought together in this group to do what they love: sing.
